Eventual offers “Premium Lock”, a premium protection service for personal lines homeowners policies. Premium Lock is not a traditional homeowners insurance policy. It’s a service that sits on top of the insured’s existing homeowners policy by protecting the policyholder against future premium increases. It does not insure the dwelling itself. Eventual does not underwrite, rate, or issue homeowners policies.
As a result, the Policy Download extract intentionally contains far less data than a conventional homeowners download.
Dwelling and Underwriting information:
Dwelling and Underwriting Information. Both are intentionally omitted. Because Eventual doesn't underwrite the dwelling, it doesn't collect or transmit dwelling and risk characteristics - construction, year built, protection class, rating territory, replacement cost, and similar. Underwriting questions (5UQG) are not applicable and not sent, and policy forms and endorsements are not part of the product.
Coverages and other policy data. For the same reason, the standard homeowners coverages (A–F), deductibles, rating details (discounts, credits, surcharges, policy fees, and taxes), co-insureds or additional insureds and their demographics, and prior carrier or loss history are also absent from the data.
Premium:
Eventual charges a single Premium Lock fee at the policy level and doesn’t break premium out by coverage. The two coverage lines that are sent (Premium Lock Maximum Payout and Payout Threshold) carry limits only, not individual premiums, so coverage-level premiums total zero. Written premium is reported at the policy level. If this is required, we can assign the full Premium Lock fee to the first coverage to accommodate for this gap.
NAIC Code:
Because this is not a traditional and regulated insurance product, Eventual doesn’t have an NAIC code. We’re using a placeholder NAIC code of 99999.
In summary, Premium Lock is a non-traditional add on service, so the data is intentionally minimal. Any absence of dwelling, risk, policy forms, coverage level premiums, and NAIC code reflect the nature of the product rather than gaps in the download extract.
Note:
Eventual and its agents are fully aware of the limited amount of data that will download into the Agency Management System.
